Detailed Description of Goods and / or Services
The Racers Edge is a business in  the   Automotive  industry that markets  vehicle  aftermarket Accessories, Suitable replacement headlamps, Car entertainment and Audio products, Mag Wheels, Body Kits and most spare parts

Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 to 7 days and delivery confirmed by way of booking [Number / Voucher / ID etc]. If a product is out of stock we will notify the customer and offer a suitable replacement or wait a few days for the product to be sourced or an option of a refund less service fees and commision charges, where applicable. Customers can opt to collect from our Umgeni Road store once goods are ready for collection. Goods delivered via Freight Company must be checked for damages and discrepancies before signing of on the waybill. Payment can be made via the Website, EFT,Pay Pal or in store payment.

Return and Refunds Policy
The provision of goods and services by The Racers Edge is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, The Racers Edge will refund the client, less service fees and commision charges(where applicable) within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a CANCELLATION FEE of 30%. CD/MP3/DVD Players, DVD Screens, Amplifiers, Cross Overs, Equalizers: Some of these products carry a manufactures repair warranty which is normally 3 to 12 months as stated when purchasing. Goods will not be swopped out, it will be sent to the manufacture to be assessed. This normally takes 7 to 21 working days. Speakers, subwoofers and tweeters: These items do not carry a warranty as per international standards. All car audio products must be fitted by an approved fitment center or by professional to honor the warranty. The Racers Edge will not be liable for courier costs under any circumstances as this is an out-sourced service.

Headlamps and Tailamps & Lighting
These products do not carry a warranty or guarantee once it has left our premises. We advise our customers that these products are aftermarket items and it should be fitted by an approved car fitment center or by professionals. The Racers Edge will honor products that have a guarantee or warranty provide THAT THEY have BEEN fitted in store or AT A REPUTABLE fitment center.

Spoilers & Body Kits
The Racers Edge supplYS correctly manufactured products that fit the specific vehicle IT IS intended for. These products are Spoilers, Bumpers, Body Kits and panels. Most of these products are made from fiberglass and it is the the customer’s RESPONSIBILITY  to try these products on their vehicles before they actually spray or fit. The Racers Edge will not be held accountable for any cost Inccurred by the customer for painting and fitting if the product does not fit properly or IS damaged WHILST FITTING. We advise customers to HAVE these products FITTED INSTORE @ THE RACERS EDGE OR by a professional panel beater.

NOTE: Most of our products are fiberglass, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

The Racers Edge will not be held liable for damages inflicted on goods in transit. The client is responsible for their order once it leaves our store.
Exchange AND REFUNDS Policy

We accept returns within 7 days of customers' receipt of product.
GOODS MUST BE RETURNED TO US IN BRAND NEW CONDITION AND IN IT’S ORIGINAL PACKAGING. UNTIL YOU ARE POSITIVE YOU WILL BE KEEPING THE GOODS DO NOT FIT THE ITEMS OR INTERFERE WITH IT IN ANYWAY WHICH WILL CHANGE ITS ORIGINAL STATE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT IN.
NOTE: CUSTOMERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE FULL COST OF THE RETURN OF THE GOODS

CONDITIONS OF RETURN

1) GOODS MUST NOT HAVE BEEN FITTED or damaged  in anyway possible
2) All products must be returned with original packaging, manuals, protective tape etc. INTACT
3) Credit will be issued in the same form as payment, less service fees and commision charges, where applicable.
4) Returns must be shipped via traceable courier. Return shipment must be pre –paid and fully insured for the amount you expect credit for. Collect Shipping will be refused. In case of loss or damaged customer is liable.

IMPORTANT – It is hard for us to change/swop goods that you have ordered from us if you don’t like it. IF you have not seen it before, please go into a store similar to OURS and have a look at it or REQUEST for a picture to be emailed to you from us. You will also note that a lot of our goods are not available or made in South Africa so please make sure 100% that you want the goods before placing an order

We believe that the above conditions are reasonable, fair and quiet simple to adhere. If for some reason one or multiple conditions cannot be met, please call and we will try to help you as our valued customer, BUT you must call before and receive authorization. The Racers Edge is not liable for courier charges under any circumstances.

Customer Privacy Policy
The Racers Edge shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment Options Accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, Master Card, American Express, DINNERS CLUB  credit cards or Payflex, Payfast or by bank transfer into The Racers Edge bank account, the details of which are listed above.

PLEASE NOTE: ORDERS/GOODS WILL ONLY BE RELEASED/DISPATCHED AFTER THE PAID AMOUNT REFLECTS IN OUR BANK ACCOUNT.

Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for The Racers Edge by Virtual Card Services who are the approved payment gateway for of South Africa. ShopDirect uses SSL3 and credit card information is stored per Visa and Mastercard guidelines on the website. Customer Details Separate from Card Details
Customer details will be stored by The Racers Edge separately from card details which are entered by the client on ShopDirect’s secure site.  For more detail on ShopDirect refer to www.shopdirect.co.za .

Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).

Responsibility
The Racers Edge takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer services and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and The Racers Edge chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 948 Umgeni Road, Durban CBD, Berea, South Africa.

Variation
The Racers Edge may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
